Affirming Therapy For Every Part of Who You Are.

COMPREHENSIVE EXPERTISE

While many therapists specialize in narrow areas, we offer true full-spectrum care. From detailed diagnostic assessments to personalized treatment plans, we have the knowledge and experience to handle a wide variety of complex and co-morbid diagnoses. Our approach combines the latest research with time-tested therapeutic techniques to give you answers, not guesswork.

SERVING ALL COMMUNITIES

I proudly specialize in supporting LGBTQIA2S+ individuals, neurodiverse clients, and underrepresented populations who deserve therapists that truly understand their lived experiences. But my doors are open to anyone seeking compassionate, expert care. You don’t have to fit into a box to get the help you need here.

SCIENCE-BACKED, HUMAN-CENTERED

My practice is built on rigorous diagnostic practices and evidence-based treatment — but I never forget that behind every diagnosis is a person. I take the time to understand your unique story, your specific concerns, and your goals for therapy. This isn’t cookie-cutter care; it’s personalized support designed around you.

FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION

I begin with a no-pressure conversation where you can share what brings you to therapy and ask any questions you might have. This is your chance to see if we’re the right fit before making any commitments.

COMPREHENSIVE ASSESSMENT

If we decide to move forward together, I’ll conduct a thorough diagnostic assessment. This isn’t a checkbox exercise — it’s a deep dive into understanding your unique situation, history, and needs. I use evidence-based diagnostic tools to ensure we’re seeing the complete picture.

PERSONALIZED TREATMENT PLAN

Based on our assessment, I’ll develop a treatment plan tailored specifically to you. This plan will outline our approach, set clear goals, and give you a roadmap for your therapeutic journey. You’ll be involved every step of the way.

ONGOING THERAPY & ADJUSTMENT

Therapy isn’t static — as you grow and change, your treatment should evolve too. I’ll regularly check in on your progress, adjust our approach as needed, and ensure you’re moving toward your goals at a pace that feels right for you.

Full Spectrum Therapeutic Philosophy:

I work with adults experiencing:
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Identity exploration and LGBTQIA2S+ concerns
  • Neurodiversity and autism spectrum support
  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Life transitions and major changes
  • Self-esteem and personal growth
  • And many other concerns

If you’re not sure whether I can help with your specific situation, reach out. Chances are, I can.

Meet Mark Pennick, P.h.D.,LP

But expertise alone isn’t enough. Mark prides himself on his ability to connect, relate to, and comfort every client who walks through his door. He has particular expertise working with LGBTQIA2S+ individuals, neurodiverse clients, and those from underrepresented communities — people who have too often been misunderstood or underserved by the mental health system.

When he’s not in session, Mark is a devoted family man who values work-life balance. He believes that taking care of himself —whether that means spending quality time with his children, traveling with his family, or brewing his own beer — makes him a better therapist. He brings that same philosophy to his work with clients: healing isn’t about perfection, it’s about building a life that feels authentic and sustainable for you.
